Do you feel like your buttock area has become more flat or started sagging over time? Dr. Chiu has pioneered an innovative, low downtime, surgery free method to lift and augment the butt, providing a non-surgical Brazilian Butt Lift.
A non-invasive Sculptra Butt Lift is NOT a substitute for butt implants or fat grafting. It is meant for the patient who desires a subtle lift, improvement of the texture on the buttock area, some contouring and a modest volume increase. Dr. Chiu will use Sculptra, a FDA-approved volumizer classically used for rejuvenating the face by stimulating your own body’s collagen. At The Derm Institute, Dr. Chiu also frequently utilizes Sculptra, or poly-L-lactic acid’s collagen stimulatory properties to improve texture and elasticity on off facial areas of the body, like the chest, knees, and arms.
Sculptra Butt Lift typically requires a series
of treatments spaced about 3-6 weeks apart. Results of Sculptra typically last 2+ years. Eventually, the product is metabolized and absorbed without harm by the body.
The Derm Institute is super excited to offer this innovative non-surgical solution that many women desire. Call (310) 866-2883 or email us for a consultation today! Feel confident and love your body!
In the initial consultation, Dr. Chiu will discuss the degree of change and/or improvement the patient is looking for. To further assess whether a subtle Sculptra Butt Lift is suitable or a more invasive surgical procedure, Dr. Chiu will use saline injections to map, shape, and contour the buttock area, and assess if the candidate can be improved with this procedure.
During Dr. Chiu’s initial consultation, saline injections are used to contour the buttocks and lift. The amount mapped and required can help guide approximately how much Sculptra will be needed for desired results. An estimate of pricing can then be given.
At The Derm Institute, we always seek to maximize patient comfort. Topical anesthesia is used, but this is typically not considered a painful treatment.
Bruising is common, and can take 1-2 weeks to resolve. We recommend all patients take this into account when planning. Some soreness is common for a few days after the procedure, but typically daily activities are not affected.
